Aura Beauty is a Nigerian luxury skincare brand targeting the premium segment of the West African beauty market. Their ambition was to compete visually with European luxury brands while celebrating African beauty traditions.
The identity needed to feel expensive without being cold, modern without erasing heritage, and globally credible while remaining rooted in Lagos.
We built an identity around the concept of "radiant duality" — the interplay of modern minimalism and rich cultural ornamentation. The logomark is a geometric A form that subtly references a mirror — reflection, beauty, self-knowledge.
Needed to occupy luxury positioning in a market where premium beauty is dominated by European and Korean imports.
Logo needed to work on tiny serum bottle caps as well as large format window displays.
Packaging required approval for both physical print production and digital e-commerce product photography.
Designed around the concept of "elevated restraint" — very little colour, lots of white space, premium paper stock finishes in the guidelines.
Logomark built on a strict 12-unit grid — scales perfectly from 8mm embossed on packaging to 4m on retail signage.
Delivered both digital-optimised assets (sRGB, PNG) and print-production files (CMYK, spot colour specs, emboss/foil guidance).
We'd love to hear about your project and explore how we can help.
