Okafor Group is a pan-African investment and infrastructure conglomerate operating across 12 countries. Their old website was built in 2018, slow, and failed to communicate the scale and ambition of a $2B+ organisation.
The brief was clear: world-class, performant, and easily manageable by their internal marketing team without developer involvement. We chose a Next.js + Sanity CMS headless stack for maximum performance and editorial flexibility.
The site launched with 4 language versions (EN, FR, PT, SW), a 98 Lighthouse score, and a fully custom CMS schema that lets editors build new pages using a library of 20+ content blocks — no code needed.
Internal marketing team needed to manage a 200+ page site across 4 languages without developer help.
Brand had no coherent visual language — 3 different logos in use, inconsistent colour application across print and digital.
Previous site scored 31 on Lighthouse and was losing leads due to slow load times.
Designed a comprehensive Sanity CMS schema with 20+ modular content blocks. Editors assemble pages like building blocks — no design or dev skills needed.
Ran a 2-week brand audit and alignment workshop, delivering a refreshed visual identity with a proper design system that scales across all touchpoints.
ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration) on Vercel Edge means pages are served from CDN with sub-100ms TTFB globally, achieving a 98 Lighthouse score at launch.
